BAPTISMS

Please speak first to Father Emmanuel after Sunday Mass, who will give you a form to fill in and submit back to him.

Parents must attend Mass before a date can be agreed for baptism. Baptism preparation meetings take place once a month on a Wednesday at 7pm.

Dona machine: We have successfully installed Dona machines in our two churches which will enable those who would like to make donations to the church or loose change collections on Sundays using their bank card.

Cenacle Prayers to Our Lady Queen of All Hearts:  The Cenacle program for the month of June will be on Sunday the 28th of June at St. Teresa at 4 pm. Come one, come all.

David Roberts – David Roberts passed away on 15th June. He was the male soloist in the church for many years here at St. Osmund’s choir. He died in Christie’s hospital Manchester, after a long fight with cancer. He won many gold medals for his singing and represented Great Britain in America. He sang in many countries and many fundraising events for cancer and others.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS

Coach trip to Skipton – Friday, 3rd July 2026. Please arrive at St Osmund’s Church for 8:50 am for departure at 9:00 am. The Coach will then go onto Hardy Hall, Church St, Little Lever, for pick up at 9:15 am this is for anyone going on the trip who cannot make the pickup from St Osmunds. There are still some places available if anyone wishes to join us on the trip at a cost of £16 per person please put your money in an envelope with your name and contact number written on the front and place in the Tub which is clearly labelled. The list is displayed in the entrance to St. Osmund’s Church. Parishioners from St Teresa’s Church should hand their envelopes to Fr Emmanuel.

Parish Media Team: we have established a media team. Those who will help in covering the events in our Parish and updating it in our Parish website and Parish Facebook page (about to be launched). Anyone interested should identify with Fr. Emmanuel.

Flatcappers Group: has been booked for a social evening event in the Parish Hall, to be held on Saturday, 17th October 2026.

Hall: is available for hire (as long as you don’t make too much noise and make the neighbours complain! ! )
