CHRISTMAS SOCIAL EVENT: We thank all those who participated in the Christmas fundraiser Event at St. Teresa last Sunday. Thanks also to those who helped to organise it. The total of £200 was generated for the Parish.

RAFFLE: The list for the winners in the raffle draw at St. Osmund is in the porch, the winners can pick their prizes up after mass on Sundays or weekdays.

FORTHCOMING EVENTS for 2026 to be decided by St. Osmund social committee. Flatcappers concert. Irish dancing display, with (maybe) an Irish dance night. Fish and chips some Friday lunch time. Coach trip-maybe to Skipton market which is open on Fridays.

HALL is available for hire (as long as you don’t make too much noise and make the neighbours complain! ! )

ST. TERESA SALE OF LAND: They have done a survey: mining, health and safety, gas monitoring, chemical soil testing, asbestos quantification, on the land at back of church and found a few issues. There was a pond there, and the builders doing the racecourse estate dumped all their waste materials in it instead of disposing of it properly. Asbestos has been found, so it will devalue the land a bit.

FR. EMMANUEL’S LEAVE: Fr. Emmanuel will be going for his annual leave on the 29th of December to come back on the 6th of February. Another Priest Fr. Ernest Attah will be coming for Masses on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there will be Eucharistic services on Wednesdays and Fridays.
